“I just had the most amazing dream” Lila smiled as she sleepily rolled over just enough to see the first beams of light filtering through her bedroom window. Not wanting to get up and break the warmth of her dream about Ryder Slade coming back into her life, she lingered with eyes closed. “If only it wasn’t just a dream” she sighed as her alarm pierced the silence.
“Lila, Is it time to get up?” came a throaty sleepy voice from behind her.
Lila, suddenly grounded by his voice, realized that this was no dream; Ryder was here. Here in her bed clad only in boxer briefs close enough to touch. Close enough to kiss, to caress, to have and to hold.
Lila shook herself awake to make sure she wasn’t still dreaming. This happened most days, Lila was still not used to Ryder being there, not yet accustomed to a feeling that felt too good to be true.
